Aaron's POV
Though we stumbled and fell a few times, we never stopped running until we saw the wolf house and made sure those from Joe's pack weren't behind us.
Peter gasped non-stop with his hands on his knees, while Arc was no better.
"Beth..." I called my mate anxiously. The look on her face worried me. "Can you hear me?" She gawked ahead without saying a word.
Her eyes were hollow and glassy, and her clothes were covered with bloody handprints, which must be from the werewolves back in the dining hall.
Those damned werewolves. They dared to set us up! They tricked us into their territory by the most despicable and nasty means.
It’s really disheartening to think that everything they did, all the effort they made was just to kill Beth's father.
"Aaron, what should we do? Beth looks terrible." Peter said to me through Mind Link.
"Yes, she needs Arc's help," I answered him, agreeing with his words.
