Chapter 81 Potatoes and Growth.

Beth's POV

The weather was so bad that I couldn't even see the trees about fifty feet away from the window because of the mist outside the wolf house.

Yet, the warriors kept patrolling, not daring to be slack at all.

I rubbed my hands and waited anxiously until I heard the voices of the warriors outside greeting Aaron.

"Aaron!" I ran out and saw his familiar figure. I hoped to see Heath with him, but he was alone.

Aaron put his arm around my shoulder in frustration and explained, "I'm sorry, Beth. When we got to Joe's pack, the damn shield was still there, so we couldn't get in. No matter how much we shouted, no one from Joe's pack came out, so we could only come back."

Does the witch in the purple robe still have her powers?

I slumped on the bed at his words and glanced at the Witch's Book . For some reason, it drew me close again.
