Chapter 170 Let It Go

Beth's POV

  "Ah!"

The Dark Moon Goddess desperately tried to avoid the blue flame, but she couldn't break free from the vines that bound her whatsoever.

Emma's shrill, anguished cries spread throughout the palace, penetrating everyone's heart and bringing back memories of everyone's worst fears.

I frowned as countless scenes of my suffering flashed across my eyes. Somehow, I became irritable, unconsciously intending to walk to the white tree while holding the dagger. A second before I was bewitched by the Dark Moon Goddess, Aaron noticed something was wrong with me. He covered my ears with his hands and brought me back to consciousness.

The blue flame ignited the black robe and slowly burned it to ashes. The destruction of the first three spiritual vessels took away some of the Dark Moon Goddess' powers, and she was already very weak. Emma couldn't fight back. We watched the fire and the last remnant of the black robe in silence.
