WARPED II

Raine entered a cramped and restricted office. This gave him a new feeling of being closed in or having no space to move.

It was run-down but all the utensils, stationery and furniture were immaculate. Everything was always kept clean, infact there was a worker cleaning that place at that time.

A black woman with curly hair emerged out of the adjacent room. She wore a yellow gown. One of her hands had been replaced with a robotic arm. But the most strange about her was her constant wear of goggles.

She ushered the worker out of her office. She then paced to her desk and sat on the chair opposite the desk.

"Goodday, Mrs Willobé", Raine greeted her with every hint of politeness.

"Raine, please have a seat.", she replied.

"So I have a huge issue to discuss with you.", she started, "As you may have noticed on the left side of the desk, there are G.A. forms and they have been filled by every student in your class."

"Where is this going?", Raine thought.

"Everytime others submitted their forms, iu always had an excuse, like it got drenched or torn or eaten. Therefore, I assume you have made your choice on which Guild to pick.", she continued.

"So, you want to give me another one to fill?", Raine asked.

"No."

"Then what do you want me to do, ma'am?"

"Fill it here and now.", These word spat out of her mouth so frail but evil.

Raine didn't know what to do. That day went from frying pan to a burning forest. How could he stall her so he could think of a Guild.

"Ma'am just give me one more day to think this through.", he asked.

"Sorry I can't do that for you. The Bureau wants all the forms today. Every school has submitted apart from us and you're holding everyone back.", she replied.

She brought out a fresh form and a ballpoint pen from one of her desk drawers and kept it on her desk.

She looked at him and urged him to fill it.

Seconds turned to minutes.

He hadn't written any thing apart from the basic information.

"Ummm...., Raine an hour had gone by and the form is still empty." she said gallantly.

"To be honest, I don't have anyone in mind, so..." he was cut off

"Therefore, I'm sorry I have to pick for you."she bursted

She then looked down on her right arm there sat a red axe sigil.

"NO!!", he thought,"That's the worst one."

 * * * * * * * * * * * * *

He was to down to put a morsel of food into his mouth. The few moments with the principal had put him in a daze. He was depressed. He could have traded his group for another in a heartbeat.

This system of Guilds was very crazy to him and it made no sense.

He thought if all the authorities had lost their minds completely.j

"Raine, what's up? You haven't eaten anything.", Leaf asked.

"Oh, it's nothing.", he glanced at his food but it looked disgusting to him. He had completely lost his appetite.

"I know there's something wrong, why won't you just tell me?", Leaf said

He didnt know how to relate his predicament to Leaf. He opened his mouth to answer but Leaf cut in.

"Is it because of the visit to Mrs Willobé?", Leaf asked.

"Maybe"

"What do you mean by maybe"

"I've finally got a Guild", Raine said it with utmost disgust

"Isn't that good, why are you depressed?", he asked

"It's the one I didn't want and they picked it for me", he replied.

He finally took a bite out of his burger. The sweet taste of beef, lettuce, tomatoes and bread washed his mouth. Until he took that bite he didn't realize how hungry he was.

"So what are you going to do?", Leaf inquired.

"Stop asking me questions!!", Raine thought.

"I don't know. It only requires a miracle", He retorted.

"So what's the lucky Guild"

"Oh, it's....",

He was cut short by a deadly snorkel.

"So what's going on here?", A voice said not try to hide his evil sacarsm.

It was a tall muscular blue skinned boy. His eye was green in colour and he had yellow hair. He wore black jeans and a yellow shirt covered with a black leather jacket.

"What do you want, Drake", Leaf spat out

He did not answer Leaf's question but he turned to face Raine. He gathered some steps towards Raine. He jacked him from his seat using his shirt. By now all the cafeteria was watching.

"So I guess your still with your GA form.", He said

As he spoke the stench of rotten eggs and chum slapped Rained nostrils.

"I know if you choose any Guild, you will get chossen cause of your good grades and all", Drake continued.

"Drop him!", Leaf cut in furiously.

"No one was talking to you, b*tch", Drake retorted.

He focused his attention back to Raine

"So as I was saying.", he paused, "you see my Guild stay away from it cause if I see you there I will kill you."

Raine could only nod out of fear. He dropped him and walked all the way to the door then he turned back.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you my Guild.", he snorted.

"What is it?", Raine squeaked.

"It's the LUMBERJACKS.", he replied.

It hit him like a wrecking ball. The bush has completely burnt. This is coming worse. Now he needed a serious miracle.

Now he knew everyone had lost their minds.

"No.", he thought, "that the one they forced me to join."
