Chapter 69

"Yes, grandma."

Elizabeth tried to find a way to explain it in order to dispel Madam Hart's doubts.

"I've never been a fan of fish since I was a child. I thought it was some kind of good thing when I was little. Once I tried it and ended up vomiting badly. So the smell of just brought the unpleasant memories back."

Hearing this, Madam Hart put away her thoughtful expression.

Based on what Elizabeth said, it seemed to make sense that she vomited after eating the fish.

But Madam Hart was still worried. "Is there really nothing wrong? Why don't you go to the hospital for a checkup?"

"No need, grandma. I'm fine now. Look at me. Am I alright?"

Madam Hart sized her up and found that her complexion had indeed recovered.

It seemed that she was fine. Madam Hart couldn't help stretching out her hand to pinch Elizabeth's soft cheek. "Elizabeth, why didn't you tell me earlier if you don't eat fish?"
