Max actually didn't know what he wanted to say.
It was just that some emotions had accumulated in his chest, and they seemed to be gushing out, but he had yet to find an outlet to vent.
But he clearly knew that the person who made him feel this way was Elizabeth.
The feeling of depression and anxiety made Max feel uneasy.
Max held Elizabeth's wrist tightly and frowned. He didn't want to let it go so quickly. Elizabeth saw him through and said again, "No matter what you want to talk about, let's do it after grandma's operation. I guess you can wait for a few days. Right?"
Becky knew that Max would only want to talk about himself and Becky. Nothing more.
It seemed that there was no follow-up of Becky's falling down.
He didn't bother her anymore. Probably because he knew grandma liked Elizabeth. For grandma's sake, he wouldn't make things harder for Elizabeth. But it didn't mean he would forgive Elizabeth for that.
