After speaking, Elizabeth handed the invitation back to Keith.
Taking the invitation, Keith didn't put his hand away. Instead, he held the invitation cover and looked at Elizabeth, saying, "What Larry really wants as a gift is a granddaughter-in-law."
Hearing this, Elizabeth paused.
Feeling that Keith was hinting at her, she was about to speak when she heard him say, "Unfortunately, I can't fulfill his wish yet, so I can only temporarily buy the antiques he likes."
As he finished speaking, Keith pulled the invitation back.
Seeing Elizabeth's motionless gesture, he asked with a smile, "What's wrong?"
Elizabeth came to her senses and laughed awkwardly. "Nothing."
"Really? You didn't think I was hinting at you just now?"
Elizabeth asked, "No, not at all. Why would I think that?"
"Even if you did, it's okay. Larry likes your two children, and you know how I feel about you."
