Adrian's words made Elizabeth very uncomfortable. His confident expression and firm tone sounded like Elizabeth really couldn't forget Max.
Elizabeth didn't like Adrian to give arbitrary speculation without proof.
"If you have let go of him, you should be indifferent when I say that. After all, our human won't feel pain if the wound is healed."
"Really?" Elizabeth chuckled. "Mr. Jones, the healed wound won't hurt when you touch it. But if you hit the wound hard with a stick, won't it hurt?"
Hearing this, Adrian raised his eyebrows.
"Those words just escaped my lips. Is it really serious, as you said? Or maybe the injured person is badly hurt and hasn't healed yet."
Hearing this, the smile on Elizabeth's lips gradually turned cold.
"You're wrong. I really don't mind."
Adrian shrugged and said, "Ms. Blaine, if you can focus on your career, it's the best thing for our employees."
