Egbert also paused when he saw Max, and then slowly got up and walked over after a while.
After getting closer, he called out in a muffled voice, "Max."
"Hi."
Max nodded, looking helplessly at Egbert.
This little guy was much more vigilant than Sylvia. Even if he revealed his identity, Egbert was still very defensive.
It seemed that he still had to find a way to make Egbert trust him and rely on him.
But coming to school every day, the purpose was too obvious.
Max narrowed his eyes slowly, thinking about countermeasures in his heart.
"Max, who is your baby? Can we meet today?" Sylvia was still thinking about the baby he mentioned yesterday.
Max put his hand on her head, and said softly, "It's not very convenient today. Maybe another day?"
"Well, all right."
