Chapter 280 We Need to Talk

Julianna was stunned. She thought, it seems that Edwin has already forbidden me to keep living here.

I'm glad that I haven't brought in too much of my luggage, and I haven't quit the place I used to rent.

"Has Edwin come back?"

The guard shook his head. "I'm not sure about that."

"Alright. I'd like to go inside and pack my bags. Is that allowed?"

The guard turned her down solemnly, "Ms. Reece, I'm afraid you'd have to wait till Mr. Keaton comes back. You may enter with his permission.

"For now, we cannot let you in."

"Alright then," Julianna sneered and turned to leave.

She felt glad that she did not say yes to Edwin easily, nor did she have any fantasies about him. Now that he kicked her out, she didn't have a huge sense of loss.

So be it. She did not want to live here anyway.
