On weekdays, food like fried chicken, hamburgers, fries, and so on, was nowhere to be seen on the Keaton family's dining table.
Yet the kids just dug such food.
"Then we'll get one more meal."
"Mommy, I want ice cream as well."
Julianna felt that she had a headache after hearing the kid's demands.
Ann also looked at Julianna with expectation. "Mommy, I want ice cream, too."
"No. Ice cream is too cold. If you eat ice cream after eating fried chicken, you might have diarrhea."
"OK..." The three kids pursed their lips, unable to hide their disappointment.
"Honey, I want to eat ice cream, too," Edwin smiled at Julianna naughtily.
"Come on! It's so cold today. No one is allowed to eat ice cream on such a day, especially you. Have you forgotten how painful the stomach rupture was?"
"I'll just have a bite. It's a holiday today. We have to celebrate, right?"
