"You noticed it."
The man was stunned for a moment. He pulled off the stethoscope hanging from his neck and slashed at Lawson with his hand. "Then I won't pretend. Someone wants you to die. You can't walk out alive today."
Lawson endured the pain and barely managed to dodge the man's attack. He rolled backward to distance himself from his opponent.
"Who sent you here?"
"Didn't you already guess whom I work for?"
The man agilely rushed up and began to fight with Lawson in the small room.
"You no longer have any value. You will only stand in Ms. Callis' way if you live. I advise you not to be ignorant of what's good for you. You should die obediently."
The man used his thick right arm to lock onto Lawson with his left hand raised high to aim at Lawson's neck.
"I don't believe it. This is impossible. Ms. Callis won't harm me. Who sent you to frame her?"
