Chapter 616 Sammy's Disappearance and Different Versions of Truth

Javon sighed. "He doesn't know the truth. He just gathered some information and used it to threaten you. Only what I said is the truth."

Ormand did not believe a single word that Javon said.

"Grandpa, have a good rest. I still have something to deal with in the National Bureau of Investigation. I'll be excused."

Ormand turned around and left.

"Ormand."

"You are all blood-related. I don't want to see my family killing each other before I die. I hope to see the four generations living happily together," Javon said.

Ormand stopped, but he did not look back. He seemed to have pondered Javon's words for a long time before leaving the bedroom.

Javon's description of the accident back then had disturbed his mind.

Just as Viola came down from upstairs, she saw Ormand standing in the aisle in a daze.

"How is grandpa? Did the medical team come?"

"He is fine," said Ormand.
