Eason's face paled. But he quickly regained his composure and made it plausible.
"Although many years have passed, that incident had been a heavy blow for the entire Hobson family. I don't know the details of the accident and the truth behind it, but I know that Mr. Gregory and Mr. Lennon should not have been there."
Viola watched his face and asked calmly, "Then Eason, do you know where Gregory and Lennon were at that time?"
Hearing this question, Eason stared at Viola and replied firmly, "They were with Mr. Hobson. Mr. Gregory, Mr. Lennon, and Mr. Hobson heard about the accident together. I was by Mr. Hobson's side at that time, and I was very impressed."
Hearing this, Viola sighed and shook her head in disappointment.
Eason was confused. "Mrs. Hobson, what do you mean? Do you not believe me?"
"I can't believe you. You, Grandfather, and Gregory's versions contradicted some of the evidence that I have investigated. Who is lying?"
