Jerry had only found out this morning that Melody had resigned from the aquarium three days ago. He didn't expect to meet her here, working as a waiter at the Bluebird Hotel.
Melody grabbed the apron with both hands nervously and servilely. "This ... is a long story. It's a little complicated."
Tia quickly realized that the three of them knew each other. But she was unconvinced. "Mila, she looks two years older than me. Do you think so?"
Being the daughter of the Czerny family, Tia thought Melody was incomparable to herself as Melody looked ordinary.
Mila snorted and said, "I don't judge people by their looks but by their hearts. Melody is a nice person like a fairy. And she's better looking than you."
Tia's face darkened. "You mean she's nice, but I'm not?"
Mila raised her eyebrows.
"I didn't say that. If you insist on thinking that way, I can't help it."
