From the beginning to the end, Elaina didn't say a word and watched them like an outsider.
Seeing the three of them looking at her, Elaina smiled and said, "Mr. Lory is so sincere. I may be arrogant if I don't accept his apology."
"You can refuse if you don't want to," Jalen said.
"I'm fine. It is not easy to hear Mr. Lory's apology." Elaina shook her head indifferently.
Then she heard Marcus snort slightly. He might also agree with her words. Elaina was amused by Marcus and Alisha.
"Alisha, I'm going to use the bathroom," Marcus looked at the coffee stains on his clothes and said dryly.
Alisha nodded and told him to come back quickly.
Then, Alisha looked back at Elaina and said, "I envy you, Ms. Gainsford, to have Jalen speak up for you. He wouldn't just do that for someone he knows."
Her tone was somewhat sarcastic. Elaina remained unruffled, but Jalen was a little unhappy instead. "Allie, shut up."
Allie?
