"As long as Jenica is fine, I don't want to be enemies with the Krause family," Elaina said. The implication in her words was very clear.
What was more, she came here today not to spread the documents out. She merely wanted to use them to intimidate Quincy.
Quincy sat back in his seat and leaned against the chair, staring at Elaina. "You have something that concerns the life and death of the Krause family. Why would I believe you?"
"You have no choice but to believe me." Elaina frowned. Although what she said was unpleasant, it was the truth.
Quincy looked at the woman in front of him and then looked at Jalen. "You can't control her."
"Cut the crap and let her go," Jalen replied. He liked Elaina without the intention of controlling her.
Quincy shrugged. "Okay, for your sake, Jalen, I will let her go."
Elaina laughed. If it was for Jalen's sake, she would have released him long ago and not waited until now.
