"You can ignore them, but I can't." After all, they were Jaydon's parents. Jaydon could treat them as he pleased, but Elaina could not.
Elaina was just an outsider, and she was aware of it.
Seeing her insistence, Jaydon did not say much. "Alright, I will come to pick you up tomorrow."
"Okay."
Soon after they finished the conversation, the plane landed at the Boston airport. When they walked out of the exit gate, a car arranged by Jaydon was already there.
Jaydon opened the car door for Elaina. "Get in, please. I'll send you to the hotel."
"Thank you," Elaina said. She did not refuse because it was indeed not easy to get a taxi at this time.
The driver had been working for the Becker family for years. He took Elaina's luggage and put it in the trunk. When he saw that Jaydon was so polite to Elaina, he was puzzled.
He wondered, who is this young lady? Mr. Becker is always arrogant, but why does he treat her so well?
