What surprised everyone even more was that after Brett called Elaina's name, he stood up and walked to her. He smiled and said to her, "You are the best student who has graduated from our school in so many years. I have always been proud of you."
Elaina was flattered and quickly stood up. "Mr. Glazier, I am flattered. Everyone here has gotten somewhere."
Others were not happy to hear Brett's words. But they could not sound rude, so someone said in a strange tone, "Mr. Glazier, Northwestern Memorial Hospital is a good hospital in New York. But being able to work there is not too difficult."
If they wanted to work there after graduation, no one would refuse them. On the contrary, Massachusetts General Hospital was much harder to get in.
