Behind them, Jenica and Louis strolled leisurely.
The winter nights had grown quite cold, and Jenica couldn't help but shiver, regretting her decision to join Elaina and the others for a walk.
In this freezing weather, we should all just go home and rest. Why bother going for a walk? It's just asking for trouble.
As these thoughts crossed my mind, a sudden warmth enveloped me. Turning my head, I saw that Louis had already draped his coat over me.
"No, no, it's not necessary..." Jenica said, refusing the offer and attempting to return the coat.
However, Louis didn't give her a chance. He firmly gripped her shoulders, not allowing her to take it off. "Keep it on, I'm not cold."
Not cold?
This statement was obviously false, but seeing Louis insist, Jenica didn't refuse any further. "Thank you."
