Chapter 4

It was Ramses.

He was invited here by a friend after getting off work. Not long after, he saw Helle come in with that man.

Ramses's eyes deepened. At this moment, his friend noticed his gaze and looked over. The woman wore a black floral dress, and her curly hair hung loosely behind her neck. Her face was cold, and she seemed mysterious and gorgeous under the light.

Matthew Lance joked, "Wow. You are finally interested in a woman! Do you like her?"

"She's beautiful. Do you want me to get her number? Wait... is that Alston Ludwig next to her?"

Ramses frowned and asked doubtfully, "Alston Ludwig?"

Matthew nodded.

"That's right. He's the vice president of that mysterious Blueby Enterprise."

Why was Blueby Enterprise mysterious? Because it was a powerful listed company, but few people knew its president. All these years, Alston came forward and handled all the affairs.

"Ramses, you are much better than Alston. You will definitely be able to win her heart."

"You talk too much," Ramses said indifferently.

He looked at Helle again with a bit of curiousness. She just came to Riomar City. How could she know Alston?

"Ramses, I'm serious. Alston is too flirtatious. This beautiful woman..."

Ramses, "..."

Ramses kept silent and took a sip of wine. Then, he saw many people looking at Helle because Alston had walked away from the bar. Soon, a risque man held a glass of wine and walked towards her.

"Beauty, let's have a drink together."

"Not interested."

The man froze, then he smiled again. "Drink with me, and I'll pay your bill. Okay?"

"No."

Helle's indifferent expression somehow irritated the man. He said immediately, "Don't be ungrateful. You dress up like this because you want to hook up with wealthy men, don't you? I have a lot of money. Tell me, how much do you need?"

Ramses was looking at Helle when Matthew said anxiously, "D*mn it! Ramses, go downstairs and save her!"

Ramses frowned and was about to go downstairs to help Helle. He wasn't interested in her, but his father had asked him to protect her.

As soon as the two got up, something dramatic appeared. When the man was about to touch Helle, she smashed a wine bottle on his head.

Ramses didn't hear Helle's voice, but he could read her lips. The woman said word by word, "I don't want money. I want your life."

She was unruly and arrogant.

At this moment, Alston came back from the bathroom. The risque man knew his identity, so he hurriedly apologized and left, fearing that Helle would really kill him.

Helle was in a bad mood and didn't want to stay any longer, so she said goodbye to Alston and left the bar.

She called a taxi and sat on the side of the road while waiting carelessly.

Helle lit a cigarette and looked up into the sky.

"Dad, how are you doing?"

Just then, a black car stopped in front of her.

Helle thought it was her taxi, so she put out the cigarette and was about to get in the car. However, there was a man in the backseat.

"Did I ask for a carpool?" She thought.

"Sorry. I got in the wrong car. Why are you here?"

Helle finally noticed that the man in the backseat was Ramses. He said, "Get in the car."

Helle paused, then she sat down next to him. For some reason, she felt guilty when she saw Ramses and didn't know why she had this feeling.

"What a coincidence. I came here with a friend. You were here as well?"

Ramses nodded lightly.

Helle turned aside to look out the window. "Ramses was also in this bar? Did he see me just now, or was it just a coincidence to run into him?"
