Chapter 73

Helle helped Reeve take care of her mother's funeral in the past few days and then sent a message to Mathis to ask him to meet.

Mathis knew Helle was for Reeve's mother. They met at a nearby coffee shop.

As soon as Mathis entered the door, he saw Helle sitting not far away, with long hair draped over her shoulders and a black dress that made her look tall.

Seeing Helle drinking coffee nonchalantly, Mathis wondered if Helle was numb in sadness.

"You know why I asked you out."

Helle put down the coffee cup, staring at him.

"I want to explain that. It really has nothing to do with me."

Helle sneered, "Do you think I will believe it? Who else could be except you?"

Mathis was also enraged. He almost blurted out the name Melinda Sants but forcibly held back.

"One more time. It has nothing to do with me. If you don't believe me, you can investigate it. If I changed the medicine, I'd be in hell."
