Reid found he couldn't make the trending topic disappear again, because Alven was behind it.
After hesitating for a few seconds, Reid called Chaim.
When the phone rang, Chaim frowned impatiently. "Speak."
"Mr. Humphrey, I can't make it disappear. Alven said it would last twelve hours."
"I see."
After Chaim finished speaking, he hung up the phone.
He looked at the cigarette in his hand, and Camille's words kept echoing.
"Chaim, have you fallen in love with Samara?"
"No."
"Then why wouldn't you marry me?"
"Because I don't like you."
"If Samara wants to remarry you, will you agree?"
"No."
"Samara will not marry you again. Chaim, I can see she really doesn't want to love you."
When Camille said that, she looked at Chaim with a proud and victorious smile.
He did not know why Camille felt she had won, nor did he know what she was proud of.
