After the meal, Roland took the initiative to get out of the car and opened the car door for Samara. Then, he took Samara's suitcase out of the trunk.
However, he did not give it to her directly. "I'll send you up."
Samara reached out for the suitcase, but Roland put the suitcase back and took it with his other hand.
Hearing his words, Samara could not help but raise her eyebrows. "And then have a cup of tea, maybe?"
"No tea tonight. Of course, if you insist on inviting me in to have a cup of tea, I will."
The chemistry in the car seemed to have dissipated. Samara smiled, "Thank you."
"You owe me another meal."
Samara remembered what he had said before and accepted it. "Okay."
The two of them entered the apartment together. This time, Roland did what he said. He just sent Samara up.
