"Samara, what's wrong with you? Did you make it up with Chaim? Are you kidding me, Samara? Do you want to ruin your life again? Didn't you say that you would never get back together with him when you divorced?"
The moment Samara sat down, Gisselle bombarded her with questions.
Samara picked up a glass of juice and took a sip. She sat there calmly, waiting until Gisselle stopped talking. Then she slowly said, "Are you done?"
"No. Give me a drink, and I can keep on talking."
Samara glanced at her with a smile. "Then why should I give you more time?"
Gisselle took a sip of her cold drink and calmed down a little. "You can speak now. Tell me, what happened last night?"
Samara did not want to hide it from Gisselle, so she told her what happened last night. "I rarely do good things. I didn't expect it to backfire."
Having known Samara for years, Gisselle knew her character well.
