Probably because of the sudden heavy rain, Samara didn't sleep well. In the latter half of the night, she even had a dream. She dreamed that she was kneeling in front of the ancestral hall of the Humphrey family that day, and the heavy rain kept hitting her face, which was cold and prickly.
However, this was nothing. What made her even more desperate was that after she had knelt in the rain all night, Chaim came in a hurry and said, "Do you know you were wrong?"
Samara suddenly woke up and looked at the slightly shining curtain next to her. It took her a long time to come to her senses.
It was just a dream. It was all over.
Samara didn't sleep well until nearly one o'clock last night. Now that she woke up, she felt a headache.
Samara raised her hand to rub her temples and walked over to open the curtains. The heavy rain last night had stopped, but Chicago seemed to have entered winter overnight.
