When the car stopped in front of Elephant Group, it was rush hour.
It was rare for Roland to drive a low profile car, so he parked his car downstairs casually.
Samara unfastened her seatbelt and said, "Thank you. I'll treat you to dinner another day."
Roland looked at her and said, "You have said this more than three times. Which day will it be, Ms. Novak?"
Samara thought for a moment and said, "I'll go to Yshire in two days. I won't be in Chicago this week. Treat you to dinner next week, okay?"
"I was just joking."
As Roland spoke, he handed Samara a cup of ginger tea. "It's cold. Drink more. It's good for you."
Samara didn't understand at first. "What's this?"
It was not until she held it in her hand and smelled the faint scent of ginger that she realized what it was.
"Thank you."
It was getting late, and Roland took the initiative to open the car door for Samara.
