Samara didn't sleep well last night. She fell asleep in the car earlier but was suddenly awakened. She didn't listen carefully to what James said.
Seeing her frowning, Jimena explained while still a little dazed, "Ms. Novak, a tree fell down and blocked the road. It was too late before we saw it which explained the sudden brake."
Samara was already fully awakened upon understanding the situation, and nodded, "I see."
She responded, and glanced outside the car window. The wind and snow outside were much stronger than when they set off. Looking out from a distance, the snow was white, the slanting wind was heavy, and the visibility was only two or three meters. It was no wonder why James didn’t saw the blockage earlier.
Thinking of that, Samara closed her eyes and looked in front of the car.
