However, the coldness in Savanna’s eyes made Brandon's heart tremble.

She looked at him as if he was an irrelevant stranger.

Thinking of the word "stranger", his heart ached even more.

After a brief exchange of gazes, Savanna snorted coldly. She smiled with heavy irony and entered.

Winnie noticed Brandon's gaze. It kept following Savanna. Winnie became nervous.

She grabbed Brandon's sleeve and pleaded in a low voice, "Brandon, I can choose not to go in. My mother takes a long journey grieving over David's death. Please allow her to see David. She is a kind-hearted person. If she does not go in today, she will never be at ease in this life."

Winnie was afraid that Brandon would not agree.

She continued, "David used to save my mother's life. If it wasn't for him, my mother would have died a long time ago."
