Three days later.
Savanna woke up, and the first thing she saw was the white ceiling.
"Where am I? What's wrong with me?" Savanna asked in her gravelly voice. When she tried to move, she felt pain all over her body.
Although Savanna only managed to make the slightest moves, Brandon still woke up.
"Savanna, you're awake?"
Brandon had been waiting beside Savanna's bed all these days. He barely slept. The rim of his eye got redden, and his eyes were bloodshot.
Brandon's eyes were filled with surprise and happiness when he saw Savanna was awake.
"I'm calling the doctors."

After crossing through the gate of death and life, Savanna thought she became more tolerant and forgiving.
Some things irreconcilable for her became trivial matters.
"How long have I been unconscious?"
