On the third day, Savanna's fever was finally brought down. Her cheeks were sunken, and she looked weak.
"Lizeth, go make me some oatmeal."
"Ms. Thompson, what oatmeal would you like?" Hearing that Savanna was finally willing to eat, Lizeth was very pleased.
"Brandon's favorite oatmeal." Savanna went to the bathroom. She wanted to take a shower. "I'll go see him later. I haven't been there for a few days."
"Ms. Thompson, don't go to see Mr. Cassel. You'll only make yourself unhappy."
Lizeth stood beside Savanna and said with a distressed face.
"What's wrong?" The fever was gone, so Savanna felt much better.
"In the two days when you had a fever, I went to the hospital to see Mr. Cassel. He didn't just lose his memory," said Lizeth, feeling wronged. "He's completely different from before. He said that he didn't know you or me, and he didn't even care about your condition."
