"Didn't I tell you not to call the police?"
Jayce was sending an email on his computer. When Jayce heard his assistant say that the police were coming, he almost crushed the mouse.
"I didn't call the police."
While the two were still talking, two policemen came in from outside with an arrest warrant. "Hello, we are the police of the first branch of Oklahoma City. We are here to arrest Daryl Orwell."
Because of great anger, Jayce's face, which had been so dark, suddenly turned pale.
"What happened to my son?"
Jayce clearly knew the truth, but he still tried to play dumb, as if that could clear his son's name.
"Daryl is suspected of embezzlement of public funds. We already have the evidence," the policeman said.
"Where did you get the evidence?" Jayce gritted his teeth, wishing he could skin the person who gave the evidence to the police alive.
