Savanna glanced at the time and realized that it was almost midnight.
She glanced at the design drawing that was less than one-third completed and sighed, finding that she had to work harder.
Seeing how reluctant she was, Brandon urged again, "You don't want to sleep? Then don't. You might as well satisfy me."
Savanna raised her head and met his dangerous eyes. She compromised at once, "I'll sleep for sure! I'll go back to the room right away."
Brandon stretched out his long arm and held her hand. "Don't try to brush me off. Let's go."
She was led out of the study, and their fingers interlocked as they returned to the bedroom.
Before Savanna went to work in the study, she had already washed up and changed into comfortable pajamas. She lifted the quilt and lay down obediently.
