The next morning, when Carla stepped into the workshop, she sensed something wrong.
Savanna was not there, and the two male designers in the same group stared at her with teasing looks.
"Why are you looking at me? Is there something on my face?" Carla asked directly.
She was also out of luck today. Carla had just driven out of the underground garage when she bumped into an old lady, who was in the blind spot.
The old lady only had a graze, and there was nothing serious. Carla was in a hurry and did not want to get entangled with her, so she took out 150 dollars from her wallet and wanted to handle it.
Unexpectedly, the old lady saw that Carla was generous and thus asked for 3,000 dollars.
Carla had a good family background. 3,000 dollars was nothing to her, but it did not mean that she would be taken advantage of by others.
"Only 150 dollars. If you don't accept it, I'll call the police."
