Edwin gazed at Jade, his curiosity piqued. "Then what are you going to do this time?"
A sly grin spread across Jade's face.
"Bought it for us!" " Edwin's confusion was evident "Jade, what do you mean?"
Jade's smile grew wider, but she didn't elaborate any further. "You'll find out soon enough," she said like a cunning fox.
Edwin's eyes sparkled with intrigue, but he didn't push for more information.
As Lilly sat in her car, her mind raced with thoughts of the man who had just brought Jade back.
Lilly mused. After a moment, she instructed her bodyguard and driver, "Find out who the owner of that car is and report back to me immediately."
The bodyguard's response was quick and dutiful, "Yes, Princess."
Lilly's lips curled into a sinister smile. She wanted to eliminate all the men around Jade so that she would have no one to rely on. She wondered if Jade would listen to her then.
