Chapter 724 Late For The Meeting

Jade faced the consequences of receiving Hank's crystal ball as Valentino reprimanded her for two consecutive nights, making it difficult for her to accept her mistake. In the end, the innocent crystal ball was all that remained after Valentino's actions.

The next morning, Jade was still in a daze when she heard her phone buzzing on the bedside table. Her long, curly eyelashes fluttered as she slowly opened her eyes. She glanced at the phone and reached for it, her voice hoarse from just waking up as she answered, "Hello?"

There was a brief silence on the other end of the line, and then Edwin's surprised voice came through, "Jade, you're not up yet, are you?"

Jade suddenly snapped out of her drowsiness, holding the phone up to her eyes to check the time on the screen. It was already nine o'clock!

She had a meeting at The Legend at ten.
