Krista struggled to swallow, but Halo made sure that she did.

Krista held her throat and said, "What did you give me to eat?"

"Poison," said Halo.

Krista turned pale and said in a trembling voice, "If you dare to kill me, my mother will not let you go."

Halo smiled lazily and said, "She won’t even find your body."

Krista was dumb.

Halo added, "But.. I won't kill you for the time being. I have to teach you a lesson, and whether or not I take your life depends on what Aryana does."

With that, Halo got out of Krista's car, returned to her car, and then left.

It was a dark night, and Krista sat alone in the car, terrified. The driver and assistant were long gone.

She looked around warily, sobbed, and then dialed Aryana's phone.

When Aryana got the call, she drove over with her bodyguard.
