The car continued to move forward. Jade glanced at her phone, where her game was still in progress. She was about to form a team for a match when Yudel came online. A gentle smile spread across her lips as she initiated a private voice call with him.
"Yudel, you're up late playing games," Jade remarked.
Yudel chuckled. "I can't sleep. I figured I'd play a game and then go to bed. Jade, are you forming a team?"
"Okay, I'm in for a team game. You can turn in for the night after a game." "Sounds good."
Rafael drove, listening to Jade and Yudel's conversation, and teased, "Madam, it seems you've taken that boy under your wing. You're even concerned about his bedtime."
"Just focus on driving," Jade retorted.
Since the voice call was still on, Yudel overheard Rafael's comment.
He suddenly said, "Jade, thank you."
"There's no need to keep thanking me," Jade said, tapping her phone screen.
