When Gloria rushed over, Jordy went to deal with the middle-aged man.
After she helped the girl up and let her rest, the latter tightly held the medicine in her arms.
Noticing it, Gloria comforted her, "Don’t worry, I will pay for them."
Hearing her words, the girl timidly looked at her and gratefully nodded with difficulty.
When they got close, Gloria found the girl's clothes full of holes and her trousers too short, making her look like a refugee.
She softly asked, "What's your name?"
The girl sized her up and said in a faint voice, "Kara Long."
Gloria gave her a white pill and asked gently, "Kara, are you still feeling unwell?"
When Kara heard her caring question, her eyes instantly turned red. Then, she said, "Lady, please don't call the police. I want to go home."
"Okay." Gloria wanted to ask more questions. But Kara looked too anxious and pitiful, so she stopped talking.
