Kaylah put down the pen holder in her hand and said coldly, "Mr. Lowery, let me remind you again that we have divorced."
Hendry used to be aggrieved and flustered if Kaylah said that.
However, Hendry suddenly came around and looked at Kaylah, saying, "Yes, but we can get married again. It's not like such a thing has never happened."
Kaylah rolled her eyes. "Impossible!"
"Don't be so sure. Just like yesterday, I thought you would never want to see me again, but you came looking for me today," Hendry said.
Kaylah blushed at Hendry's words and glared at him fiercely. "I came to find you not for you, but for myself!"
"Oh?"
"I said I would do what I said! Since I promised to take care of you for two days, then it must be two days! I just want to fulfill my promise."
Hendry raised his eyebrows and chuckled softly.
