"Don't come over! I haven't finished speaking! Although we have settled down and let go of all our past faults, we aren't any closer than strangers now that we have divorced. It would be better that we don't disturb each other's lives ever again," said Kaylah.
Hendry smiled bitterly.
It seemed that making Kaylah return to his side was far more difficult than he had imagined.
However, there was nothing for him to be worried about since he had made up his mind and had enough time to pursue Kaylah.
"We may be strangers now. But as we get to know each other, we can be friends. And then we can be a couple again," said Hendry.
"Hendry!"
Kaylah raised her voice instantly when she heard him say so. Her voice was helpless and painful. She narrowed her eyes and looked at Hendry. Mixed and hard feelings overwhelmed her.
