Cindy slapped Alondra across the face.
Alondra covered her aching right cheek and looked at Cindy in disbelief. "How could you?"
Cindy's right hand was trembling, and she looked very angry.
Cindy never imagined that one day she would be questioned in this manner by her own daughter.
