"Hendry, do you think I'm happy to see us in this situation? Or will you miss the days of love before and rekindle the old love we had buried alone?" Kaylah bellowed.
"I kept this dress and waited for you to return for days and nights," Hendry mumbled feebly, lowering his head to the ground.
"Did your mother order you to do this?" Kaylah scoffed.
"In this dress, Alondra and Cecilia pointed at my nose and said I was rustic." Kaylah's voice choked. She pinched her palm under the table and muttered, "I feel sick when I see this dress and these old things!"
Gradually, the edge of Kaylah's eyes watered. "I wish those three years would disappear completely. It's my shame. I won't make a second mistake. If you have any conscience, you should burn all of these things rather than bringing them out to upset me," she muttered, her tone held a bitter note.
