"What did you say?"
Jared turned to Joshua in disbelief.
He thought, did he just scold me?
But Joshua paid no attention to him.
He turned to ask Heidy, "Are you really going to lend them money?"
Heidy rolled her eyes at Joshua and answered impatiently, "Yes. What?"
Joshua said calmly, "You know about them. Are you sure they'll return the money?"
Joshua didn't say all his thoughts aloud.
In fact, he wanted to say that Jensen would still be an idiot even if he was admitted into a good high school. After all, he couldn't even get into the high school of the small town he came from.
Jensen did nothing all day other than eat and sleep. He could never get into the best college.
It would already be a miracle if he could make it into a vocational school.
The school district house was also bullshit.
Jared and his wife didn't even go to junior high. How could they ever tutor their son in school work?
