This was a mountain in New York.
It was the afternoon of the second day after Joshua and Julia fled to this mountain.
Joshua and Julia washed their faces in a mountain stream. There, they ate to replenish their energy.
Julia rubbed her calf and complained, "The mountain roads are difficult to walk. I got blisters on my feet. Are you sure you can walk on like this? What if we get lost?"
Joshua took a mouthful of water and then answered casually, "We may get lost and die here. Isn't it a good thing that we leave our bodies to nature as nourishment!"
"Come on!"
Julia said unhappily, "Don't jinx it! I still have a lot of things to do!"
Joshua rolled his eyes at Julia. "Didn't you want to die after your defeat in the duel? Why do you cherish your life all of a sudden? Women are fickle!"
"None of your business!"
