Joshua refused without thinking.
Donna's eyes flashed with astonishment.
Then she did something out of Joshua's surprise.
Donna slapped herself hard.
The sound was so loud.
"What are you doing?" Joshua grabbed Donna's right wrist and stopped her from hurting herself.
Donna burst into tears again. "I was wrong. Don't you have any feelings for me now?"
Joshua answered frankly, "I don't love you. I just felt guilty."
"Guilty?"
Donna murmured and sniffed, and she stopped crying.
She looked at Joshua and said seriously, "You hurt me. But I won't force you."
"It's good that you think so."
Joshua breathed a sigh of relief.
Then he let go of Donna's wrist.
However, Donna threw herself into Joshua's arms.
And she didn't let him go.
Joshua was shocked and wanted to push her away.
But Donna suddenly said in a pitiful tone.
