Chapter 815 U-Turn

Joshua glared at Ava, "You better tell the truth. Otherwise, I will teach you a lesson!"

Ava did not expect that Joshua, who was often gentle and easy-going, would have a U-turn.

His sharp gaze pierced straight into her heart, making her tremble and lower her head like an ostrich that buried its head in the sand.

Joshua questioned, "Where did you go that day? Why is the murderer missing?"

Ava stammered, her eyes full of fear. "Mr. Palmer, it was my fault!

"I am to blame for it.

"That day, a handsome guy came to talk to me. He was very handsome and his voice was like melody. So I just chatted with him!

"It wasn't until the visitors ran out and fell unconscious that I called the police in fright.

"I knew that this incident was due to my negligence!

"Mr. Palmer, I'm sorry!

"I didn't call the police because I made a mistake at work. I am truly sorry!"

Joshua frowned as Ava's explanation was illogical.
