The black mercenary looked at them with resentment in his eyes.
"Don't blame us. After all, we're living under someone else's roof now.
We have no choice!"
Joshua smiled bitterly.
"Humph! What do you want?"
The man gave a harrumph and raised his hand to signal his men to put down their guns.
"It's simple. I can't hand over all the goods to you!
I'm going to get my man back!"
"Get your man back?"
The black mercenary frowned slightly as if he couldn't figure out who Smith was talking about.
"It's the sailor who was detained.
He is Captain Smith's man.
So, he wants to get the sailor back as soon as possible."
Seeing the confused look on the black man's face, Joshua quickly explained.
"Oh... that man."
The black man slowly nodded.
"Do you mean that as long as that guy comes back, you will hand over all the goods to us?"
