Ainsley entered the elevator and took a deep breath. She thought, I'm not a little girl anymore. Calm down. Calm down!
When the elevator door was about to close, a hand blocked the door. Then, Manuel walked in and slowly approached Ainsley. Manuel carried the fragrance of cedar.
Ainsley only felt that she was getting more and more obsessed with that fragrance. The elevator seemed to be filled with the fragrance of cedar. Ainsley's cheeks were flushed. She touched her cheeks and felt that they were very hot.
Manuel looked at Ainsley worriedly. "Are you OK?" He even reached out and placed his hand on her forehead. "It's not hot."
Ainsley was stunned and almost forgot to breathe. Manuel's hand was warm and powerful. Ainsley stared at Manuel's hand as it left Ainsley's forehead. In the end, Manuel's hand fell back to the side of his trouser pocket.
"I don't have a fever," Ainsley said firmly.
