Cole stood up and walked over to the door, poking his head out to make sure no one was around. "Spill." He pushed my legs off the table and sat on it facing me. When it was clear that I wasn't going to say anything he began listing girls that I'd fooled around with. "Is it Clare?" I shook my head. "Stacey?"
"No."
"Amy?"
"No."
"Rachel?"
"Enough. It's none of them, it's no one I've had sex with."
Yet. My wolf added, speaking for the first time in hours. Stupid dog.
I sighed in annoyance, and sat forward resting my elbows on my knees. Could I tell him? I mean, it was Cole. The guy had been my best friend practically since we were born. His father was Beta to our pack and he was my father's best friend. Even our moms were best friends. Maybe it would help if I told him. Cole hadn't found his mate yet, like me he enjoyed his life the way it was, but he might know a way to get her out of my head.
